Modeling Occupational Burnout Based on Job Stress With the Mediating Role of Psychological Capital and Coping Strategies Among Nurses

Background: Occupational burnout is one of the factors that can significantly decline performance nurses, and be influenced by various factors. Objectives: The present study seeks to model occupational based on job stress with mediation psychological capital coping strategies used nurses. Materials & Methods: correlational article falls into category descriptive-crosssectional studies. population includes all nurses working in public hospitals Kermanshah province. A total 404 selected through random cluster sampling participated study. Demographic Information Questionnaire, Nursing Stress Scale, Maslach Burnout inventory, Coping Inventory for Stressful Situations questionnaire were data collection purposes. collected analyzed using SPSS software, version 24 Amos 24. Results: results showed proposed had an acceptable goodness fit (χ2/df=3.05, GFI=0.90, CFI=0.93, RMSEA=0.07). suggest mediating role problem -focused (β=0.028, P=0.001), emotion-focused (β=0.069, avoidant-oriented (β=0.046, P=0.001) (β=0.144, indirectly affect nurses’ burnout. Conclusion: Job affects directly as well problem-focused coping, capital. Accordingly, authorities are advised organize training courses improve thereby mitigate effect stress.
